The Industrial Partners will support the ongoing development and operations
of Cyber.i. They contribute to the direction of development, courseware,
software, hardware, scholarships as well as placement opportunities.
They will also help organize events like conference, seminar, campaign,
and provide advises/ideas.

A suitable industrial placement is considered vital in complementing
the class studies atCyber.i. The placement duration must not be less
than two months in order for students toqualify for the completion of
the course. The total duration is preferably at least eightweeks so
there is enough run-way for the student to provide some real contributions
tothe organization.
Payments to the students are at the proposal by the Industrial Partners
although duereference to the market situation is recommended. Students
will be encouraged toconsider it as a valuable opportunity to gain work
experience as well as to demonstratetheir potential.
Students may be placed in IT departments or other functional units
where they would beable to work while lending to leveraging their IT
knowledge and skills. The IndustrialPartners will advertise details
of the positions to students via the Institute for them toapply. They
will have full discretion to decide on the suitability of a candidate.
Selectioninterviews may be required. A placement contract resembling
an appointment contract fortemporary staff should be arranged. However,
other possible appointment arrangementsmay also be adopted.
The Industrial Partners may at any time offer permanent post to the
students. However,that is not an obligation.
Students may choose to do a project instead of placement. Whilst Cyber-I
will endeavourto find a placement for every student, the number will
depend on the business situation. Aproject will be assigned to the stud
ent when no suitable placement is available.
In order to encourage excellence, a few scholarships will be raised
for each intake so longas available. They may be at full or half course
fees. The scholarship will be in the nameof the sponsor and will be
announced at the time of advertisement for the intake.
